earn your way out

most blockers fail the moment you want them to: one tap and you’re back in. with null you choose what ending early will take while you’re thinking clearly.

  • type it out.copy a pledge word for word. one typo and it starts over, and pasting is off.
  • solve it.a multi-step math problem, in your head.
  • ask a friend.they set a 4 digit code you don’t know.
  • tap the chip.scan an NFC sticker you’ve left in another room.
  • no way out.it ends when the timer does.

an emergency exit is always there for real emergencies. it’s logged, not judged.

  • sessions and schedules

block apps, categories or websites for 25 minutes, a few hours, or every night, morning and workday. schedules run even when null is closed.

  • breaks that end on time

one five minute break per session. your apps come back, then lock again when the break is over.

  • see the hours come back

screen time against a daily goal, how often you reached for a blocked app, your null time, your streak and how often you keep your blocks.

  • a chip for your desk

pair any writable NFC sticker and tap it to go null, even from the lock screen.

daily limits that hold

give apps a daily allowance. once it’s used up they’re blocked until midnight, with no “ignore limit” button.

strict mode

apps can’t be deleted while a block is on, null included, so deleting the blocker stops being the way around it.

starting a block, every way out, two schedules, insights, the chip, the live activity and shortcuts are all free. null pro adds daily limits, strict mode, unlimited schedules, home and lock screen widgets, more app icons, your own words on the blocked app screen and your own pledge.

private by design

no account. no tracking. no servers.

null uses Apple’s Screen Time on your iPhone, which hands it anonymous tokens instead of app names, and everything null stores stays on your device.
