←Daylace

Privacy policy.

The short version: Daylace doesn’t collect any data about you. Your calendar and reminders stay in Apple’s own apps, and nothing is sent to me or anyone else.

Effective November 8, 2026

What Daylace doesn’t do

  • It never asks for an account, a sign-in or an email address.
  • It includes no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking code.
  • It makes no network requests of its own, so nothing is sold, shared or sent anywhere.

Calendar and Reminders

Daylace asks for access to Calendar and Reminders so it can see your events and tasks. That data stays in Apple’s own databases on your device. Daylace reads only the calendars and lists you leave turned on.

It changes your data only when you act: it sets the due time on a reminder you plan, marks a reminder done when you check it off, and changes an event’s time, title, location or notes only when you move or edit it yourself. It never deletes an event.

What’s stored, and where

Daylace remembers how long each task takes and when it’s planned. That plan holds only reminder IDs, minutes and times, never titles or notes. It’s kept on your device and synced between your iPhone, iPad and Mac through your own iCloud account, and past days are cleared out automatically.

A small copy of today’s plan is shared with Daylace’s widgets on the same device, and your settings, such as which calendars to skip and whether nudges are on, stay on each device.

Notifications and Siri

Nudges are scheduled on your device and never pass through a server. If you use Siri or Shortcuts with Daylace, Apple handles the request under its own privacy policy, and Daylace only receives the task or action you asked for.

Children

Daylace isn’t directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its settings and the copy of the plan on that device. Your events and reminders stay in Calendar and Reminders, along with any due times Daylace set on them.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Daylace will never start collecting data without saying so first.
