Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Jafdev, the maker of myFamCart. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Using myFamCart

myFamCart lets families share a grocery list. You need an account to use it, and you must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account.

Families and invite codes

Anyone who has your family's invite code can join your family and see and change its list. Only share the code with people you want in. The family owner can remove members and make a new code at any time, which stops the old code working.

Your content

What you put on your list stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of your family, only so the app can work. Don't use the app to store anything illegal, harmful or that you don't have the right to share.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Availability and changes

We work to keep myFamCart running and your data safe, but we can't promise the app will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop features. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the app so you can note down your list.

myFamCart Plus

myFamCart is free to use. myFamCart Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that adds extra lists, app icons and the new Plus features we add over time. One subscription covers everyone in the subscriber's myFamCart family.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Family tab. What happens to your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Jafdev isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for things like a forgotten item on a shopping trip. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo, Egypt have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Apple

If you downloaded myFamCart from the App Store, Apple's standard licence terms also apply. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support; Jafdev is.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change matters. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
